Turmeric Detox Tea

Start the day with this flavorful and healing lemon, ginger and turmeric detox tea. This turmeric tea is a combination of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredients, with a fabulous flavor and lots of benefits to your health.

Makes a large pitcher

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 large chunk fresh ginger
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Juice of 6 fresh lemons
  • Raw honey

  • DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Peel and grate ginger over a large saucepan or pot with water. Bring to a boil then turn to low heat and let simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
  • 2. After 10 minutes, add the cinnamon sticks and turmeric and simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes; stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, allow to cool and strain. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice, sweeten with raw honey and serve hot!
